The Pittsburgh CrosseFire was an American professional box lacrosse team that existed for a single season, 2000, in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The team was based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The CrosseFire were formed as a result of the relocation of the Baltimore Thunder franchise. The Thunder had played in Baltimore for two seasons, but attendance was poor and the team was struggling financially. In the offseason of 1999, the Thunder were moved to Pittsburgh, where they were renamed the CrosseFire.

The CrosseFire played their home games at the Civic Arena, which was also the home of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). However, the CrosseFire were unable to generate any interest in Pittsburgh, and attendance at their games was even worse than it had been in Baltimore.

After the 2000 season, the CrosseFire were relocated once again, this time to Washington, D.C., where they became the Washington Power. The Power lasted for two seasons before they were relocated to Denver, Colorado, where they became the Colorado Mammoth.

The Pittsburgh CrosseFire were a short-lived team that never found success in the NLL. However, they did play a role in the expansion of lacrosse in the United States, and their existence helped to lay the groundwork for the future of the NLL.
