The Georgia Swarm is a professional box lacrosse team based in Duluth, Georgia. The team is a member of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), the highest level of professional box lacrosse in North America. The Swarm was founded in 2003 and began play in the 2004 NLL season.

 

The name “Swarm” is a reference to the state of Georgia’s nickname, the “Peach State.” The team’s logo features a stylized peach with a swarm of bees around it. The bees are a symbol of teamwork and industry, two qualities that are essential for success in box lacrosse.

 

The Georgia Swarm has a strong tradition of community involvement. The team partners with several local organizations to provide support and programming for youth and underserved communities.
