The Bearcat mascot is a popular figure on campus and appears at all home athletic games, as well as at many other campus events.
The Bearcats have a long and storied history of athletic success. The men’s basketball team has won 18 CUNYAC championships, the most of any school in the conference. The women’s basketball team has won 11 CUNYAC championships, and the men’s soccer team has won 7 CUNYAC championships.
The Bearcats are also one of the most academically successful athletic teams in the country. The men’s and women’s basketball teams have both been ranked in the top 10 in the nation for their graduation rates.
